Busts of King Henri III of France

A bust of Henri III is seen in the first two pictures, on the left.  It is widely labeled as belonging to Henri III, at web sites like Lumiere and Joconde, however, the label at its base says "Carolus IX" (Latin for King Charles IX, older brother of Henri) and 1568 (I think, it is hard to read).  Perhaps the bust was altered for Henri III ??

It seems more likely to be a bust of his brother Charles since the subject wears only the order of Saint-Michel (look for collar of cockle shells), not that of the Saint-Esprit.  Henri founded the later order in 1578 and always wears it in portraits after 1578.

Compare a bust by the same artist of their father King Henri II, the last photo on the right.
