The Death of King Henri III of France
The paintings in the first row are quite recent. The third is nearly contemporary.
The picture by Buffet is actually a celebration of the house of Bourbon : its full title is "Henri IV Receiving the Attributes of Monarchy from the Dying Henri III". It was an 1817 gift from King Louis XVIII to King Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies after the Bourbons were restored to the throne of France, after the fall of Napoleon.
